Something happened with the cable company here.. right at 10 Comedy Central totally cut out. I have satellite, so it was fine for me.. but none of my friends were able to see the episode. Weird, weird shit. It only affected Comedy Central, too. Every other channel worked just fine. We were joking that Blizzard(makers of WoW, their HQ is in our county) paid off the cable company to not show the episode =P

LOL. I don't think that's the case. If you look on the main WoW page, they had a teaser trailer for the episode up on there. And it's also pretty obvious from watching the episode, to those of us who play the game, that Blizzard gave them a lot of assistance, especially with 3D models and terminology. Us WoW geeks enjoyed it.

I think it would be awesome to have that be a new series, I would so watch that. But I'm a WoW nerd :p Me and Mr Schaefer, who got me addicted to it, were watching it going "that's correct, that's correct, what the fuck? Why would he buff AI during the battle? And why is Kyle's toon wearing the Festive Green Dress instead of a mage robe??" :p

haha yeah, I wasn't serious it was just a joke. Still kind've interesting though, that the cable was only out for that one show and, AFAIK, only for our county. People in all the surrounding areas weren't affected.

And yeah, you can definitely tell they got help from Bliz with the modeling and everything. I have only played the game once or twice but it was obvious the environment was the real deal.

Even to those of us with lives( :p ) it was pretty funny! Seeing them all fat and pimply faced was hilarious. I was totally hoping for a Leeroy reference though.

Nice gear!

Yeah sadly I'm pretty into the game. I go through spurts with it. I lost interest for awhile and didn't play much. Then I got into a new, young guild that's been making insanely good progress through ZG and MC, and now I'm enjoying it again. I'm on the Gilneas server, I have three level 60's (Huntress, Mage, and Druid). My mage was my main for a long time, but after I was kicked from a huge raiding guild for lack of attendance (they are nazis, 24 hours of raiding required per week) I lost interest. Started putzing with my druid and totally love it, she's now my main. Started doing battlegrounds too, I kinda suck but oh well.

I'm the only regular 60 druid in the guild, so on our first real excursion into MC I got all the Cenarion drops ;)

Yeah I play chick characters. No I don't pretend to be one. If I'm gonna stare at a 3D ass for hours on end it better be a cute 3D ass :p

very nice, my server is Aegywnn. there are a couple really hyper raiding guilds that you have to have a lot of raid attendance. luckily mine is pretty laid back, we have MC and BWL on farm and are slowly progressing through AQ40. Since we have a ton of active pallys i have a mix of ZG, MC and BWL gear.

I used to be a computer gaming FIEND. Was in a bunch of clans that won tournaments and stuff. Never won any big money, because I refused to play Cunterstrike, but we got $6k to split between 8 of us when I was about 17. Used to hit up LAN parties all over the country. Mainly played Quake TF, Team Fortress Classic, Call Of Duty and Halo for PC.

Was fun as shit, but once I started sitting at a computer all day for a job.. the last thing I wanted to do was sit in front of one when I got home. Could never get into FPS games on consoles either.. aiming is a joke with a controller compared to a mouse. More into flying, racing and such games for consoles.

You sound like me.

A few of my friends and I used to play UT and would attend LAN parties pretty much every weekend.... Then we got jobs and started college. I never really like CS. UT and UT2k4 were my strong points, and luckily, that's usually what we played.

I can't play FPS on a console. Period. I'm terrible at it. Mouselook FTW!

EDIT: Aero02, did you ever make it to any of the LanWar or MillionManLAN events?

I absolutely hate playing HALO on Crashbox. I suck at it because of the fucking controller. If it were a mouse+keybd, that's a different story :D

I play WoW a lot but it doesn't dictate my entire life. I got into it after me and my ex broke up. It was either sit around bawling my head off and wanting to die, or play WoW. I chose WoW.

At work I have so little to do, I just babysit lawyers really, so I play WoW during the day. Nothing else to do, and I have to be here so blah whatever. Stole the nicest POS in the office, stuck a decent 3D card in it, and boom :)

I played Counterstrike a lot, but the hackers got to be so bad it ruined the game. I tried it again a couple months ago, when I picked up Half-Life 2, and just got spanked hardcore. Haven't played FPS much so it was pretty bad :p

yea before WoW i was in a Day of Defeat: Source Clan that ran one of the most popular public servers in the game, we hit #1 on the charts a couple times. I love FPS games but I love RPGs even more. everything is good in moderation, some people in WoW have problems with that.

I think I may have gone to one of the early LanWar's, but not entirely sure. I did go to CPL in 2002, though. Most of the LANs I went to were TF specific, and not really tournament style. Just a bunchve us in a crowded room gettin drunk, high, and fragging the hell out of eachother for 48+ hours straight. TFC never really got that big in comparison to CS, UT, CoD etc but I still haven't played a more challenging and fun game. They are making an updated version of it for HL2 that I just can't wait for. www.fortress-forever.com if you wanna check it out, it should be sick as fuck. Might actually get me gaming again, especially since all my old clan and guild mates will be playing.

As for RPG's, I had my stint with those as well back in the day. Mainly Diablo 2, Ragnarok Online, and Risk Your Life. By the time EQ2, DAoC, FFXI, WoW etc came about I had lost interest in the genre.

I went down to CPL 2005 for Day of Defeat. 4 of my roomates are (were) on a clan with 2 guys we didn't know from wherever in the US. Did pretty well, except we got knocked out in the second round by some guys from Australia that nobody knew, and they went on to get 4th I think.
