I filled the tank today and was trying to reset the fuel consumption computer with my gloves on when it magically changed from metric to mpg. The metric (L/100kms) never caught on with me and since my speedometer is in km/hr only I just figured the fuel consumption would be metric only. I am pleased! My gas mileage is shit though.

Now for a problem, I was putting in new vacuum line to my stock boost gauge and had that info center (time, outside temp etc..) pulled out. Now the display no longer works. Any ideas, do these commonly fail?

i like to put mine in miles per imperal gallon. it makes me think that i have a hybrid, a turbocharged hybrid.

lol, when i first bought my 9000 it was set to imperial, had no idea, but it was sweet, til i realized how bad my mileage actually was..............

Are you talking about the edu right below the speedo or the lcd/trip computer that some cars have to the right of the instrument cluster?

The lcd/trip computer has the diplay problem. I can still faintly see the time. It just doesn't seem to power up with the car on.

My guess is that it probably just needs a new bulb or there is a loose connection somewhere.

Hmm I'll have to look at it again and see if I can swap a bulb.
