"Coke" - Inbread southern catch-all for Soda. You can get your rootbeer Coke, your orange Coke, Pepsi Coke, whatever!
Never heard of the other ones, but you got that all wrong...what we Southerners call "cokes" are Coca Cola products and their derivatives, sorta like how Kleenex is used. It can be used interchangeably with "soda" or "pop"

Agree...

When you've got that much time and $$$ into something like that, you'd better spend the extra $ to protect yourself. Just in case...
It would have been cheaper. I just had not done it yet. I wasnt expecting a fire and it has been sitting a lot so i wasnt worried about wrecking it. OH WELL.

WHEREZ MY DECALS?! ;)

I need new wheel decal set. PLZ? they got melted!

There will be no usable aluminum parts coming off of this car. The pistons are junk just throw them away, if they look fine i guarantee they have lost their heat treat. The transmission will need a total go through and a new case. Aluminum starts to loose its strength and heat treat properties at 500 degrees.

It is definitely a good thing that it got a proper viking funeral!

Where in the wiring do you think the fire started?

I had (2) Cars catch fire back in the 90's.

(1) 1970's Dodge Ramcharger Truck. I was driving down I-696 in Royal Oak, MI. Flames started coming up through the pass side floorboard. Complete Loss

(2) 1989 Jeep Wrangler Cat Caught Fire from over heating. Luckly a semi pulled over and put it out pretty darn quick.

wow i guess you miss a lot when you're gone for a week, i'm sorry to hear about the fire, can't wait to see the next creation.

i kinda wish the small electrical fire i had in the ng was as bad as this was, but then again the car was parked in my garage, so it's a good thing it wasn't!
