Picked up this 99 a few days ago for dirt cheap. Was in a slight accident up front hence missing parts. Plan is to fix her up and get her solid mechanically and be a daily driver

The good: Recent HG, clutch, front and rear seal, fp, water pump, radiator, front struts and some suspension components

All 4 jack covers, all 3 splash shields, front bumper opening grille. Viggen wheels with tires, current 16" wheels have brand new all seasons with less than 600 miles

Motor is very quiet

The bad: missing chunk from front bumper after accident, hood had some minor damage from impact, sloppy shifter/no reverse, cel, abs and airbag lights on, wrong rotors in the front( haven't checked rear yet), brakes are soft, seats worn a bit and no fog lights

Overall solid for the price I paid, plan to have her roadworthy by the end of March

I'm curious how much you paid. You know, because I am nosey. And the my list of Saabs I would buy at this point is short, and LBV is on that list.

Put the reverse lockout tab that was broken off back in and realigned the shifter, I can finally get it in reverse now. Swapped over headlights, corner lights, and grille from my other Viggen to see how everything would fit and everything lines up pretty good, just need to tweak fender a bit.

Got some headlights, corner lights and a grille on the way along with some silicone vac lines

Plan to get some more work done on her tomorrow
