I know most of you on here don't care for the style of what i do to my car but i though i'd share one of my winter projects i did. The engine bay is in he process of being polished piece by piece, slowly but surely with the hood to reflect it. :)

I think that's pretty bad ass! I have a 75 chevy pickup rat-rod project I'm working on, and that is kinda the direction i want to go w/ my engine bay. Since rats are all about the motor, the whole truck is being done in primer black, black interior, chop-topped, rust on the frame, and dents in the body, and then I'm painting the block and heads stark white, maybe w/ a coat of pearl, w/ chrome headers, chrome valve covers w/ blue accents, polished intake and carb, stainless braided lines and hoses. That mirror hood idea would be a cool way to set it off!

Not my style personally but you are definitely doing a good job going about the look you are going for. This is cool, especially considering some of the extirior touches on your car.

Looking at the distortion I don't think its actually a glass mirror.

He never did say he polished the hood. He just said he made the hood to reflect the polished components in the engine compartment.
