well after having bought my car last september, my turbocharger went on my 2002 9-5 arc (sedan). I bought it with 88,000 miles on it and I was at 99,000 miles when it went. Did all my oil changes on time. Any input on the matter? Any reasons why it would have gone?

do you know what turbo you have? I want to say gt17 and if so there notorious for crapping out with next to no miles
Garrett GT 17 in there. In my experience you are lucky it lasted this long. Mom lost hers at 72k well maintained miles.
Shop around for an inexpensive good used replacement. New they are over 1000$.

Have you ever had your oil pan scraped, or the valve cover off. One thing could be a clogged line leading to the turbo choking off the oil.
Oil feed line clogs even with good maintenance. Send in your turbo for a rebuild and source a new oil feed line, or i can provide you one, and you'll be all set.
