So as some of you know i am working on a 1995 CS "Sport" build
Now this car is my project as well as my DD so keep this in mind when answering the question.

This past weekend i had my JT 3" turbo back put on the car. As i have converted to FPT the car runs full boost based on the Aero ECU i have but running it on a T25.

As soon as i got the exhaust on the car boosted so much better, i could hear it spool and finally feel that T25 doing its job. For the last 2 days it was great.

Now for the problem. This morning i get no spool at all. there is no smoke, no grinding noises, nothing. WHAT HAPPENED? how can i check and see what happened without taking the turbo out or taking things apart too much? I got an oil change right after getting the exhuast put on and i know they put plenty of oil in and i just checked it when i got to work and it still has plenty (i know checking after driving isn't too accurate) so...

anyone know the problem? have a solution?

thanks

I used a small piece of stainless steel wire to keep the rod there. Worked wonders and is easier to remove than the circlip.
if this is the problem i will def be going the lowes route to get the part to fix it.

if it isn't any other ideas?

yeah i would check that wastegate acutator arm first also, but its no big deal to pull the intake off the turbo and reach in with two fingers and see if there is any major play in and out up or down and see if it even still turns freely

yeah i get that a lot also, my friends car uses a walbro and actually needs it if he wants to beat on it and i have one in my car...so i can wait to get to the track and it be his turn to run, as people will be watching me take my fuel pump out and put it in his car lol

awesome.

so i checked it last night after work and def the actuator rod. couldn't get my hand in there to reconnect it though so had to wait till this morning so the stuff wouldn't be 900 degrees.

fought to reconnect it this morning.. seriously you need to have midget hands to get in there and put anything around that.

Any tiny handed people in my area wanna help so i can reinforce the attatchment?
