Any thoughts on the future president of the country?

I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to say there. He said he's really excited to debate McCain and neither can I.
Yep. He's been Obamatized. He had a little to much Obama Juice.
Hmmm... do they allow write in's anymore? If so, i might have to.Jesse Ventura and Raul 2008. nuff said
3 purple hearts.Am i the only one who is sick and tired of hearing about McCain and his POW days?? i give the man a lot of credit no doubt about that, you have to have great physical and mental strength to survive being a POW, i wouldnt last one day let alone 6 years in captivity, so i give him enormous amount of credit, but enough is enough, everyone already knows, if he thinks he will win by telling that same story over and over again trying to get sympathy votes, he is greatly mistaken
im not doubting his credentials, the guy is a hero no question about that,3 purple hearts.
Yeah, i guess your right, but i feel that he should talk less about his POW days and more about other issues, i know he covered alot of issues but it some how always comes back to his POW days,I do wish he'd talk more about other things, but i think hes earned the right to toot his horn on that subject, so i'll hear him out. That speaks in some ways for his character and the type of person he is.
I understand why he talks about it, and i am kinda sick of it but your right he deserves to talk about it, You dont want to make the world a better place? personally i would want to hear about change and hope, we need someone to fix what bush did, wether that is mccain or obama, (hopefully obama)My dad was a firefighter and my mom's dad was a cop. I heard the same stories from them day in and day out. They definitely earned the right to talk about it. Same with John McCain. And frankly, I'd rather hear about someone's actions until the end of the world than the same old stuff about hope and change.
and 3,000 purple heart bandaids.3 purple hearts.
Not only is there bias but they are extremely notorious of leaving out information and misquoting.Did I see something earlier about the AP having liberal bias? Are you KIDDING?????????????
The AP regularly kowtows to the current administration's false narratives without criticism and their recently appointed washington bureau chief (Ron Fournier) has turned their political coverage into something -just- short of an extension of McCain's campaign. Which is funny, because he nearly became a senior advisor for that campaign before being hired by the AP.
Liberal media bias is a farce- but I guess -actually- attempting to be balanced counts as "liberal" to some wingnuts.
I noticed this especially with war related items. So much is let out that i would never know about if i didn't have friends serving in various areas of the armed services (Marines, Army, Air National Guard, or Chair Force as my friend affectionately calls it). I also hear about many things on BBC World News that happened long ago that NO one in the US reported on that are enough to change my opinions all together. I don't wanna change the path/threadjack this thread so i'll let it go at this. Not only is there bias but they are extremely notorious of leaving out information and misquoting.
While I think it's greatly exaggerated, I'm going to have to disagree. You can't tell me Keith Olbermann isn't biased at all. However the liberal biases can never hold a flame to Fox News.Liberal media bias is a farce
That's against everything we are taught if we are ever captured. High ranking POW must take command and control of others and continuously aid in escape. He must also help to keep morale high. He did everything he was supposed to do.The part of it where they declare him as a hero for choosing to stay as a POW instead off going home? Bullshit. He could have used that four years to go home, heal up, and come back to help mount a rescue of the remaining prisoners. His inside information into the location and layout of the prison would have been invaluable. False sense of morality and honor...
