I have a fairly sweet setup of Boston/Klipsch, and I enjoy high bitrate music and high volume.

Anyone have any recommendations for some decent music to listen to at high volume?

Some bad suggestions so far*

Bouncing Souls - Maniacal Laughter
Wu Tang Clan - Forever
Propagandhi - Less Talk, More Rock
Mad Caddies - Keep It Going
Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons...
Rudiments - Circle Our Empire
Del Tha Funkee Homosapien - I Wish My Brother George Was Here
Hot Hot Heat - Elevator

That's what I like listening to loud but your mileage may vary

Nice, found most of them.

The Death Machines - Where's my Liquor
Four Way Stop - Taint Bustin'
Rhinestone Cowboys - They Call me Froot Loops
The Olden Goldies - Login Failed
The Beatles - Yesterday
Are any of these bands real (this thread is 4 srs) besides the Beatles?

What kind of music do you like?

Some of my favorite high volume tunes are:

Dying Fetus - Epidemic of Hate. Careful, though... the opening drum part has blown out more than one of my friends speakers.

Tool - Any song will do...

Slayer. Angel of Death, Mandatory Suicide and Reign in Blood being my favorites.

The Mars Volta - Televators and Roulette Dares.

A Perfect Circle - Orestes. Can't suggest this one enough... absolutely beautiful and on a good system it almost makes me melt.
Good suggestions. I have all Tool, A Perfect Circle and The Mars Volta albums. I love the newest album The Bedlam in Goliath. Try out the song Ilyena. They have a new drummer and he has some interesting chops.

Crystal Method:Tweaked Album
Atreyu:right side of the bed
Avenged Sevonfold:afterlife

for good listening of highs lows etc...

Eagles - Hell Freezes Over Tour (DTS 5.1 CD)

Crank Hotel California and enjoy.

If you like Dave Matthews, the Central Park live album, and The Gorge live album are good.

and last but not least, the "Beatles - Love" remaster album on DVD in 5.1 sounds pretty sick too.

I have to second the AC/DC and Wagner. I've been blasting AC/DC in my 91 9000, back in black, which is quite appropriate because its my first black SAAB since I turned my old one into a parts car.

But I really must add, The Chemical Brothers

Anything by Thievery Corporation.
Bonobo is pretty Jazzy.
RJD2 is pretty great music.

Of course there is Dj Shadow, Dj krush, Amon Tobin and Mr Scruff.

I can gmail you some tracks if you PM me.

If you're into progressive/experimental rock I highly recommend OSI, Porcupine Tree and Oysterhead as well.

The recording quality is ridiculous.

Also, I can never plug these guys enough... Between the Buried and Me. Heres a couple of videos to give you a little taste if you aren't familiar.

They are live clips, but their recording quality on the last two records(Alaska and Colors) is incredibly good.
