Eagles - Hell Freezes Over Tour (DTS 5.1 CD)

Crank Hotel California and enjoy.

If you like Dave Matthews, the Central Park live album, and The Gorge live album are good.

and last but not least, the "Beatles - Love" remaster album on DVD in 5.1 sounds pretty sick too.

I have to second the AC/DC and Wagner. I've been blasting AC/DC in my 91 9000, back in black, which is quite appropriate because its my first black SAAB since I turned my old one into a parts car.

But I really must add, The Chemical Brothers

Anything by Thievery Corporation.
Bonobo is pretty Jazzy.
RJD2 is pretty great music.

Of course there is Dj Shadow, Dj krush, Amon Tobin and Mr Scruff.

I can gmail you some tracks if you PM me.

Stiff Little Fingers - "Inflammable Material"

If you're into progressive/experimental rock I highly recommend OSI, Porcupine Tree and Oysterhead as well.

The recording quality is ridiculous.

Also, I can never plug these guys enough... Between the Buried and Me. Heres a couple of videos to give you a little taste if you aren't familiar.

They are live clips, but their recording quality on the last two records(Alaska and Colors) is incredibly good.

If you're into weird Swedish electronic music, I recommend The Knife.

"We Share Our Mother's Health"

"Neverland"

It's interesting, to say the least, but I like it.

I may get hated for this one...

Steve Earle
Copperhead Road..

It varies from almost silent ot a crescendo, and likens moonshining of the 50's/60's to growing coke in the same area of the USA in the 70's80's...

Good stuff.

Deep Purlpe-Smoke on the water
X2 Steve Earle-Copperhead Road (it was pot not coke)
Any early AC/DC before back in black
Neil Young-Rocking in the free world
Nervana-Teen spirit
Billy Squire-In the Dark
Grand Funk Railroad-American Band
Any Black Oak Arkasas

alot of this is very old music but definately crank worthy

Another very crank worthy tune-Riding the Storm Out-Reo Speedwagon

i'm just glad no one has said metallica yet. makes me happy.
they are good but really not as insanely incredible as people seem to think. this thread kinda proves it. they do have a very large devoted following that seem to further the myth that metallica is the best in the world

recently I've got these bad boys on repeat:

Kanye: Diamonds from Sierra Leone (version w/JayZ)
Trick Daddy/Twista/Lil John: Let's Go (incredible song sampling Ozzy's Crazy Train)
Twista/Kanye: Overnight Celebrity
Kate Bush: Wuthering Heights (its the voice.)

songs for LOUD volume must have the killer intro.

Metallica is good, but not great. Their a band that you wont turn the station when they come on but wouldn't by the CD. Now there are band that the station HAS to be turned when they are on, one for me that comes to mind is System of the Downed. I cant stand them
