Yes i'm sure there are misspellings on the 2004 site. Yes that is my codriver taking a leak in the 05 pics LOL. And yes the write up for 2004 is a little over excited.

Alen is currently working on revising the route. Due to severe flooding in the area back in June many roads were washed out and some still have not been fully repaired. He is also working on getting the website up and ready for registration this year but, will do so once the route is established. Otherwise the plans are the same, 10/07/06 at Dan Haddle's Eurotech Auto Repairs Inc shop at 131 Wood St. Wilkes-Barre Pa. The website has some more information which will still apply for this year. We're all just waiting on the registration now. So plan it!!! ITS A DATE.

Chris, last year it took us nearly eight hours to get there...45 mins just to get out of Boston, and then almost 3 hrs to Hartford. Weather and traffic were appalling. Fortunately it was just 4.5 hours home on Sunday.

But obviously this means we drive down on Friday afternoon, since it would be insane to do it on Saturday (leaving at 3am LOL). We stay over Friday and Saturday nights in Wilkes-Barre. We'll have to plan with you about a caravan. I also have to see if I can coax Josh and Lance to come as well.

Aireeca, I hope you can make it!! Would love to see you again!

Last year sucked for me. It was all rain and crappy tires. And no ATM for a hundred miles of the place we went after the run so no beer. Then the turnpike exit flooded on my way home and I ran over a cynderblock that was under the water. She made it through but on 3 cylinders with a cynderblock stuck under the car. My foglights even filled up with water. It was a long drive in the rain to get there to drive in the rain all day and then drive in the rain all the way home again. And there was VERY litle hanging out. This year should be 100X better if there is at least a pre party. I have Yokahamas this year too. ;)

It worked very well for slowing me down. But it failed to stop Butch. Put a little dent in the floor though. And I had to pull over and keep it floored till it dried out enough to get me home.

Daniel and I wil definitely be there as will our favorite co-pilot, Libby dog. It'll probably be the last hurrah for Inga, his '94 commemorative 'vert, before she goes for a long winter's nap at his parents in Indiana. But, if it's anything like last year, what a great weekend. Although less rain would be nice :)

RedAeroGirl, can't wait to see you there, either. Just be careful on the drive out. Sounds like you guys have been having some weird Saab adventures lately....

last year it took me 8 hours to drive from wilkes-barre to Amherst Mass. to see my sister. That includes weather, being stopped behind an accident for 1.5+ hours... and an hour power nap at a rest stop
