Thats cool as shit. It would make a kick ass daily driver. Viggen looks and handling with a nice T5 setup. My only fear is not to tune it too aggresively as how much power can the Sensonic take? Can you still put in a stage 3 clutch etc?

I would seriously buy that car if I could for the wife and myself to share.

That is a great car, owned by James Uhl who is a tech for SAAB corporate. The car was originally a regular 5 speed with clutch pedal, and with his connections he was able to get parts from europe and some from here to transform it into a proper Sensonic car. Very cool car and a nice collector. You would skip adding any more power to it just so you don't screw it up. If I rmember what John Moss said the cars were pretty robust but when they had a couple for American journalists to try out they blew the clutch/trannies up.

Hope it goes to a good home.

I've driven a few cars with similar auto clutches. The key to it is learning how to drive them. Simple things like not touching the shifter unless you are shifting and such. Most of the cars I have drove have micro switch in the shift handle to disengage the cluch and as soon as you touch it the cluch disengages. This has been the cause of most of the problems I've seen in them. Granted these were older cars (late 60s-early70s)

Sensonic is MINE!

Hey all!

Just wanted to let you all know that she has gone to a good home. I have known James for over 10 years through Saab and SCUSA, but I can honestly say that I NEVER thought that he would let go of that car. I don't think that many of us here have seen the detail that this car has had poured into it, and how much of a real perfectionist that James Uhl is. (The Sensonic clutch is only one small part of the unique identity this car has!) Everything is virtually brand new, in show condition and it has NO quirks!

James had a Trionic engineer at Saab write an ECU for stage 3-4 type levels that only hits in 3rd-5th. It's very streetable, very fun, and feels like a new car that handles far better than advertised. I feel very fortunate to have been at the right time and place when no one bid. The car is worth almost three times more than the amount he was asking with all of the extras he threw in! I'll post more about it later when we get a chance to get better acquainted.:)
