I'll have to think about it for a while, but I'm not sure that it portrays Honda in a way that would make me buy anything? It does say that Honda has been around a long time. So they got that going for it...
I think it makes Honda a fair deal sexier than it actually is. I'm still "do not want" about the brand, but it did make me a bit curious about a brand I usually ignore.
That is phenomenal. Makes me feel quite comfortable. ..::Not to mention that Richard Burton has an odd way of evoking emotion in that simple minute and a half::..
Entertaining add with a great song. I would have been more impressed it if showed me finishing a cord of wood splitting with a Honda 5.5 hp. They make great little engines.
as a side note.... i really hope Saab does the right thing and takes a long hard look at their advertising campaign. they need something new and fresh to wade through the muck of car adverts. this imho will be key to bringing them back to life as a global and profitable company.
Considering the look on his face and his pause prior to taking it, and then proceeding to put it in his pocket and drive off, I don't think he talked it over with the owners.
It's "Grounds for Divorce" by Elbow. I recommend that, if any of the Saab ad folks are at all listening, they use it for their first, pre-GM divorce ads.
I'll stop yammering on about this and go and have a smoke.
