Hey folks,

I am looking on removing my side skirt for my Linear. I know on each end there at the wheel wells there are some screws...but what next?

Thanks

Topher, I am adding side rocket launchers...jk. hehe. Really, I am re-painting them in black for now using the krylon fusion stuff. I tried it on one of those little bumperettes and it looks great! Maybe this summer (or good deal pending) will I get them painted to match. This is why I need them off.

I've removed one of mine before. It's easy.

There are plastic pop-rivet things on there (yes, technical terms), kinda like you would find holding your door panel on, and yes they are re-usable so long as you don't butcher them. These are located along the length of the skirt, towards the inside, and it attaches to the skirt straight up tothe chassis.

Then there are a couple screws in the front and rear wheelwell. I don't exactly remember, but I think I had to pull out the wheel well liner a bit to get access.

hope it helps

rabbit: thanks for the heads up. I usually don't mind just pulling things apart, but its good with some minor hints on how-to.
soggy:I don't think they are. Its just black polyethylene (at least I think that's it:confused: ) and then injection molded. The black paint will rejuvenate it. Pics will be posted for your efforts. :)

Cheers
