yeah i always thought the "light failure" warnings were a bit overdramatic, along with the WASHER FLUID LEVEL LOW warning, makes it sound like the car wont run without washer fluid :lol:

Yeah, well at least you can clear it in a NG, 9-3, or 9-5..... Unlike my 9k that has a leaky resivoir and it has the light on non stop in my gauge area.... grrrrr.... and it's BRIGHT orange to make matters worse.

 

I have two on mine everytime I start her up. SID Unprog and Rear Light Failure. I don't really care about either, it's just annoying to press Clear everytime.

I tried fixing the light failure one by replacing a couple bulbs, but I'm sure that I have to replace every fkn bulb back there with the exact same type to make it happy. And well, I'm lazy.

SID Unprog is because I bought a new SID since mine was losing pixels, and I don't really feel like paying the stealership to sync it to my car. There has been zero ill effects from this that I've seen, everything works just fine.

it went away for a little while but it's back

 

I dont get any warnings my SID is FUBAR

 

the light failiure stuff is triggered by a difference in resistance between sides of the car. If you have new bulbs in the left side and old ones in the right, or by different manufacturerers, it can set off the sid. I dont know if the dealer can adjust how sensitive this is, but they need to be able to.
