The 19's are not standard, they are a factory option. 18's with all-seasons are standard for the Aero.

Still, 19's as a factory option are pretty cool. In Europe you could get the 9-3 Turbo X with 19's, but not in the US.

 

5x120 is the modern BMW pattern, hence the much wider variety of attractive choices (the market is larger).

 

I wonder what the offset will be? Will we see 9-5 Aeros on CSL reps?

my suggestion is to save the money from buying winter wheels and tires, and buy a winter beater. The new 9-5 is much too nice for MN winters.

 

Its just a car.

I'd never spend 40-50k on an AWD family sedan that I wouldn't want to drive in the winter.

Arctic white on 19s, awesome. Arctic white on 19s with 20% tint on sides/rear, awesomer. That'd be my order.

sounds like a nice ride. I'd go with matte black or a dark gray wheel, the ones you picked look sweet!

 

Go with the wheels you picked, great looking set. Being dark they'll hide the dirt that will accumulate on the winter roads, and I second the tint. I've had a white Audi and C900 with tint and it looks awesome. I'd skip the 20% on the front windows though, I used to roll down my fronts in the Audi in the middle of winter so I could see. Stick with legal in front 35% in MA, and then go 20-25% in back. My current Combi has 22% in back and 35% on the front.

Major brainfart on my part...5x120 is also a fairly common GM lug pattern. GTO, Corvette, GM trucks, etc had 5x120. Likely the global plateform they developed the 9-5 on too (e.g. Buicks are Tweek points out).
