Maybe he thinks since he has a 9-3 he is better than you.

 

We are a step above the rest of the Saab community.

 

I've had the exact same result with the 2 saab owners that live in my complex. an older 9-5, and an NG 900... both just look at me like I'm a total lunatic. I feel your pain

 

Maybe it's the 5 cars parked in your yard thats putting him off. He might think that you're white trash.

 

Yeah maybe. To me they're SAABs, to someone else maybe shit.

 

There's a guy in my complex with an old 9-3 that occassionally parks next to my cars, waved a few times, doesn't seem interested, but if I go to leave and he's at his car he always stops and watches.

 

I've only found a few newer saab owners that wave back to me. One was a younger (good looking) girl that I would sometimes see on my way to work in a 9-3 conv., the other was a guy in a 9000 that took some 'training' (a week of waving) before he figured it out.

I wave at everybody. Arm's pretty tired by the time I get to my destination, usually.

 

They will come around when thier shit breaks and need on the spot help.

 

And since they are Saabs it's inevitable that they will breakdown...again.....and again.....and again.......and.....

 

haha. this is completely opposed to the lady that lives down the street from me with a white Saab Wagon (which I want so badly) - she stops everytime she sees me and says teh same thing - hows that Saab doin'?? Ain't cha wanna drive my car?!?

Yeah, she suggest we switch cars for the day all the time.. Shes always poking around my car, she even gets out and looks around at my car if im outside washing it or doin whatever. Shes hilarious. she LOVES the prancing moose badges - oh wait - she refers to them as 'Them Dancing Mooses" badges. haha. shes great.
