oh ya. i got the wheels along time ago. the guy called me after i posted this thread. i got them around 3 months ago.

i did file a polic report. but before they could do anything i recieved the wheels so i called them and dropped the charges.

for the hassle i would have let him sweat it out. then when the cops figured out you had them drop the charges and/or dropped them later. i think he called you after hearing from the cops.

Once again, forums are used successfully for crime stopping.

Near my hometown, a local forum had a thread posted about a kid's rims. Apparently his neighbor's boyfriend stole his custom rims from his car. (The neighbor even confirmed this). So, jump ahead, he's since posted on the thread asking for help. The freakin' forum mobilizes and several members run the streets looking for this kid. FINDS THE CAR WITH THE RIMS ON IT. Calls the police (who up to this point had been worthless) gets the police over and the kid was like "Dude, I'll give you back the rims, just..make this go away".
Forum poster told him to "fuck off". Cop walked over and really started grilling the kid.
End result. The kids POS civic (rusted, barely runs....but with the stolen 1500 dollar rims) gets impounded. hehe.

Unfortunately, the owner of the rims had taken very good care of them, and once on the civic, they weren't treated very well. Sad.

If anything ever happens in Vermont, or NewHampshire. Let me know, I've got a 500 man local forum at my disposal!

I should speak up and note that Mr. Hedrick owes me $750 for wheels he never delivered, but has stepped up and made two payments of $100 each to reduce his debt to me to $550.

So progress is being made, albeit somewhat slowly.

Confusion.... are these individuals paying you both interest? they should be seeing as they get to use your money for whatever purpose and didn't provide items so you are currently out money that you could be using/earning interest on.

I say charge a nominal rate of 15% compounded hourly..
