Washington D.C. it was actually the car you guys kept teasing about being posted repeatedly in the Craigslist thread but I ended up purchasing it from the guy after he saw how persistent I was with trying to get it. The reason I think the ad went up so many times was he said people showed interest then never came through. I'm very happy to have it as I really wanted another old school 9K turbo and I love the flared fenders on the 91's. I miss my 92' but I couldn't afford to bring it with me to Florida at the time. :(

Oh no it wasn't you but it was a couple of the other link members, I was just saying that in case you remembered the car but it was posted in the Craigslist thread a few different times and I ended up being the one who purchased it.

Thanks lol, and no rust that I know of but I'll be doing a full sweep of the car once I have it and put it up on a lift. I'll probably be making a build thread for it once I get started so you guys can follow along with my progress.

You shoulda came up and driven it home!

If I wasn't working thru the weekend I would offer to drink beers while it is loaded onto the trailer if need be.
I'm only 19 lol.

By the way do any of you guys know where the armrest comes from? Was it an aftermarket Saab accessory? I've never seen armrests in 9000's up until I moved here to the South I've seen two cars now with armrests one was a 95' 9K Aero the other is my new car.

Same thing I had planned for my 92' before I had to get rid of it but basically a few cosmetic things and a little performance gain. Other small things might be tinted windows of course and an upgraded sound system but probably with a standard deck since I like the stock look, so just speakers in that case. Mostly for mods we're looking at.

*Bigger injectors
*Bigger FPR
*Bigger front mount intercooler
*Bigger intercooler piping
*Bigger delivery pipe
*Mitsubishi TDO4
*3" JT turbo back
*Open air intake
*Swedish Dynamics red series springs for a 2" drop
*Clear turn signals
*Clear fender blinkers
*Chip it

That's about all for now to start with I might have missed a thing or two but I don't plan on altering the car drastically outside I like the stock look other than it sitting a tad lower, all the other changes will be in power. ;)

I believe Silver Spring, and I also gotta say Alpine has been excellent so far I called in yesterday for it to be picked up and they just picked it up about 30 minutes ago and it's on the road. That's some of the fastest service I've heard of lol. I can expect her by either Sunday or Monday.

I was also curious can anyone tell me what these two things are? There's a switch zip tied to my bypass valve hose and unless it's a 91' thing it doesn't seem normal to me, then there's also this piece in between the coolant hose next to it that doesn't seem normal to me. It's that cylinder shaped piece in between the clamps.

I was also wondering what this might be? And can it be removed? It appears to be some sort of antenna is my guess but I still have the standard radio antenna in full working order so it doesn't make sense. It unscrews but underneath it is just a threaded nub that still protrudes off the body of the car, I'm guessing it'll take some body shop work to fully remove it since it's embedded in the body of the car?

Whoo I'm beat! I just got done waxing the entire car, I'll be sure to take some pictures tomorrow it turned out great. I also might take a short video of her in action. I figured out what the mysterious plug was, it turned out to be my BPC valve upside down zip tied to the delivery pipe. As for the cylinder shaped piece in my coolant hose it's still a mystery but I'll just replace it with an OEM hose and get rid of it.

darken the exterior trim/plastics ?

you can use a number of products. . a good voc compliant tire shine will work until it gets really wet. . product called perfect 10 works. . its a waterproofer that moisturizes plastics.. it really depends on what trim your doing. . my side skirts and front and rear spoilers i use the p10 and tire shine. . the door trim doesnt shine up realy much its alot harder of material it doesnt have any pores to absorb chemicals atleast mine done. . you can try buffing it with a glaze II and soft yellow pad to bring the color back or just get them refinished with a plastic dye/paint .

use a good tireshine. . get a nice thick tire gel. . no foam or anything and apply it to a good surfaced rag, and just apply it to the plastics carefully. . dont get any on the paint its annoying to get off and smudges everywhere.

no p10 can only be found through companies like malco. . its a aerosol spray can.. professional detailing places will have it. . you wont find any in auto parts stores.
