Moisture in spare tire well.

I noticed that the carpet is a little damp and there's a lot of condensation in the spare tire well. I wouldn't freak out if it were my c900, but it's a relatively new car. I don't see any holes where the water might be leaking in from, but I'm not very familiar with the 9-3 yet anyhow.

There is a marginal amount of rust on the jack, but that's IT. Needless to say, I'm not happy about this, or quite sure what to do.

Where might this mystery liquid be coming from?

Go to the dealer, it's free! Sunroof drains at the rear righ and left of the hatch behind the carpeting. Mine come off all the time from taking things in and out of the trunk.

There are grommets at the bottom of the spare tire well. They can be removed to drain the well if it water has somehow built up. Check to see if your grommets are infact there.

It might be from the plugs from the bottom of the frame that holds the tire. Just look at your rubber plugs to see if one fell out, or if one is cracked.

edit:

whoops, like he said
