JK, I may just take you up on those snow tires... depending on the weather for the first event and if my rally tires are in or not.

Feel free, they are taking up space in the garage. Like I mentioned before, there is one with a huge hole in it, but I have 2 unmounted spares :-D

I can't wait for this! YAY! Its nice that this is not very far either.

They certainly do! Volunteers are much appreciated for these events!

They usually require the drivers to also do course/cone duties, but its very helpful when there are additional people as well!

It's $50 right? We just show up cash in hand? or should we make sure to register?
Its $55, and if I were you I'd register ahead of time. $15 of that is SCCA weekend membership dues, and can be applied to the SCCA membership at a later date if you decide to become a full member (this would pay off after 5 SCCA events, until then its a wash)

How many co-drivers are allowed on one car? I remember 3 guys sharing that mustang at the last rallycross.

I'm sure we can make sure ADouglas gets to drive. Hopefully the SPG survives the abuse. As soon as my shit is done being snaked I am going out to work on it!

And just so everyone knows. If you plan on doing any in-car video (which would be neat - do it if you can), remember that the passenger cannot simply hold the camera. The camera setup needs to be pretty much firmly bolted or clamped in place, they don't want anything that is loose, or could move around at all inside the car.

At the last event they flagged down a car that was running with a camera being held by the passenger and made them start over.

I am tempted to bolt sometime to one of the rear seat backrests. My guess is that will be pretty stable, it would possibly offer an overly wide view, but I can live with that.

I'll work on that sometime after I get the exhaust back on the SPG.

I've been known to take my tripod and tether it down in my backseat with a spiderweb of seatbelts. But I'm guessing that won't be acceptable?

I wonder how long it takes to get a stickypod? Anyone wanna pitch in on one? That way we can just suction it to the roof of each of our cars and we can all get footage!
