SO GLAD we didn't get any of that miserable white crap.

I love snow. The government shuts down, so I don't have to work, and I love barelling around in it in the SAAB. Of course most of what we get here is the "wintry mix" which isn't too fun.

Agreed...it's so much worse, because

a) it looks horrible. Not a "winter wonderland" at all.
b) People assume because everything is wet, they should drive just like they do in light rain.
c) People don't realize that after it turns dark, all of the water freezes from the bottom up, so you may see slush, but be driving on ice before long.
d) I hate it.

It snowed 8'' at loveland this morning, we were skiing pow before halloween it was great.

 

YES! snowboard season is coming.

 

Almost the end of Spring down here with days warming up nicely... looking forward to Summer over Christmas and New Year! Bring it on! Nothing like Christmas day being 35C (100F)... sitting around outside playing cricket, going to the beach, and more sitting outside in the sun downing beers

Heh, we had a pool party for Christmas last year. We thought about going to the beach, but figured it would be too crowded

I do wish we got decent snow on the slopes though. Gotta take a pretty decent drive to get to real snow, but Mammoth is still one of the more fun places I've ever boarded. Colorado is definitely FTW, though.

 

i can't wait for another buffalo winter. i love driving in it!
