I prefer to work on the fuel system of a car while it's running.

 

I find the easiest way is to leave the car running, drop the new injectors in the gas tank, and walk away for a few hours.

Luca, its generally an easy job i.e. no special tools required. The difficulty comes in the physical placement of the injectors, as Guru said. And of course make sure the dimensions of the new injectors are similar to the old ones so the geometry of the fuel rail isn't altered.

Grab a haynes manual, search online, or ask on an audi forum for more. I'd give it a 2 out of 5 for difficulty. 5/5 if you didn't leave the car running.

 

Leaving the car running is 100% needed for this to be done correct. But like the others have kind of said, it shouldn't be too hard.

 

I tried to do this once with the car off, it took all afternoon.

a4 injectors was for me.
Instead of me having crazy interest rates, and a huge monthly payment.
I've decided to go for a cheaper car. Put 8000 down and finance 3k max.
That way i can get full coverage insurance and have a nice car, and still have some left over money.

My budget is 12000 and under. I looked for some 9-3SS aeros, and some 9-5 aeros but no luck.
