Specs:
1999 Lightning Blue Viggen
Fully rebuilt motor with JE forged pistons (Have reciepts for $4700 worth of work)
New clutch
New waterpump
5spd trans shifts great
Bar and plate FMIC
Viggen Rescue Kit
GS 3" Downpipe
EBC Green stuff pads
Koni suspension kit
GS Rear sway bar

Many of you know this is Kwkslvr's old Vig. Since I've purchased it, I've replaced the oil cooler, intercooler, radiator, window moulding, and front bumper and had it painted ($$$).

I love the car, and get 31 mpg on the highway when I go from CT to Boston. But I'll be honest, as I feel a bit out of place in it. My heart is with BMW's and I feel kinda lost with this Saab. It is a beautiful car and I get compliments all the time (no I really do, haha). I'm looking in the area of $9k seeing as how much recent work has gone into this and the quality of the engine rebuild, but I am open to offers.

Haha, hey BMW's are great cars! You guys should drive a clean example of one. Sure some of the owners are dicks, but not all of us! :)

Palmer- Yes I did get this about 2 months ago. As I said, its a great car and alot of fun, but I just don't feel right in it. I've owned a couple BMW's in the past few years and they just feel right. Hard to describe.

Thanks for the compliments Dan and Josh.

I do appreciate the offers thus far. I'll eventually list on CL if I get real serious.

Hey now y'all, I helped a friend re-assemble his '88 E30 M3 last weekend, he had it strippled to the block for cleaning and re-sealing, and I will say that it really opened my eyes to just how few specialized or unique parts there are on Saabs, the S14 motors have so many ingeniusly designed parts/brackets/hoses, etc., that I see no problem falling for them. Amazing car.

And you are never afraid of breaking anything in the driveline.

And they handle amazingly.

And they have basically the same electrical components, and interior comforts, and build quality (at least for the older examples).

Best,
Drew

Bump for a quick sale, what year did you get?

That is a sick deal, even with the miles...

And a really good deal, knowing that the miles don't really mean much after the motor rebuild.

IF you are looking for a blue Viggen, most will have way higher miles, and then lead to problems down the road that will cost you way more than this.. and all the problems have been dealt with already on this one.

yea, which M3? Always fun playing with them at the racetrack :)

Definantly great cars (BMW) & I know what you mean about feeling out of place sometimes in the saab. What pisses me off so much about the viggens is the crappy steering! I just HATE feeling every bump through the steering column as the thing flexes all over the place.

Thanks for the comments guys. It really is a great car and I got another compliment on it today, ha. BTW I replied to all PMs.

I picked up a 1995 Daytona Violet M3.

Also, I can only show the car on the weekends, as I go to school during the week in Boston. I'd also rather not show the car in Boston, as the roads, traffic, and parking is terrible.
