Hi, I know I've been around for some time, but now I'm stepping into a whole new ball game with the 9-5. What I got is a 2000 2.3t wagon 5speed with 82,000 miles. I would like to learn all that I can, the quirks, its cool features and what I can do with it. Also what to have upgraded or what to look for, what to carry with me on my daily drives & long distance drives.
I have a basic under standing of how a turbo work exhaust spins the turbine & the turbine sucks in air compressing it sending through the intercooler then into the engine. It's the talk about electronic & engine management is where I get lost T5 / T7? I don't know any of that stuff, so if you're going to refer to it please use terms that I can learn from.
My currant plans are brakes, exhaust, suspention & then maybe bsr stg 1.
Thanks in advance, for you knowledge, tips & advice.
I ran the VIN against several checks & the NADA VIN check came back that the wagon was a Gary Fisher Edition, I did research on what a GFE had, there isn't one feature on this wagon that would backup that it is a GFE. Any ideas why that would come up GFE?
