Has anyone tried using two stock sway bars on their car before? do you think It would equal a new thicker swaybar?

I think it would likely equal massive oversteer, unless you beefed up the front sway bars. Part of the job of the sway bars is to basically absorb enegry, so the frame doesnt have to. Making them stronger to a point in benifical, since the cars were designed with comfort and safety in mind too. But going overboard isnt going to make the car handle better, most likely much worse.

All the time! Search double stack sway bar. I had one on my saab till i upgraded to a real genuine sway bar. Double stack sway bars is a nice upgrade, and is a cheap an easy mod. My ride got better, along with the handling. The car actually damped out fast on bumps with the double stack.

30 bucks for the stock swaybar! Thats crazy. I have two, I'll GIVE them away for the cost of shipping. PM me. Mine was free from a fellow saab'er who was GENEROUS. So I am going to return the favor to somebody else.

I could use an ashtray if anybody wants to donate it to me (and ship it free). If you do that, I'll pay the shipping on the bar. If you want to donate me a headlight assembly, I'll shp a bar free, AND sandblast it!

Sounds like a good deal to me! btw, you'll be at my mercy as to when I get my lazy butt down to the postoffice, and paypal is the preffered form of shipping money sent.

ps. The extra sway bar I have is from Marks900SE so props to him.

Wow that was quick :).. both gone.. Wish there were enough for all interested.. :(

Probably be a couple returned rack braces up soon too. from people that got wrong size one and tried a bit too hard to fit, anyway I will quit stealing this post..

If you double stack the factory rear bars drill them out and use 3/8 or 10mm bolts with proper hardened spacers (next size nuts) between. Not so much fun when the bolts break. ;)
