I still want to race a C5 corvette from 40 to 140.

As for a Vette I ran a C6 base vet and and through 1st and 2nd gear I did ok... then when he got traction it was all over.

Come up to Northern Virginia. I'll give it a go, but on the track, not the street.

 

Mustang GT's, the last body style... I pulled one repeatedly from about 55 to 100. He kept looking down at his gauges like something was wrong!!

 

LOL I had the same experience, guy and his GF, I needed to get arond them to get into a shopping center a mile up. I took off realtively quickly, then I herad him open it up ( they sound way nice BTW) I hammered it turned on my signal and pulled informto of thim then to th efar right, At the light of the Shopping center he pulled next to me looking at his speedo then me then said "that's just wrong" Nicest complement I ever had...

yea...my friend had a '99 with cat back and intake...and he pulled a fender on me from 2nd gear.

Now he has a intake, chip, and full header back and there's no contest.

Just so you know, In my old car I ran a base C5 from 75-125 and put a half a car on him twice in a row. I dont think you will have any trouble with one in your car....
