If I had the cash it'd be mine. That guy has some newt old oddball euro cars. That 900, a 9-3, looks like an old Audi, two Rangies, an Alfa 164, a 944, and whatever is in the other side of the garage. Looks like a neat collection.

I know! I was sickened not being able to bid on this one! No bids at all. Someone should contact and try to swing a deal. If I remember right, gauges alone have sold on eBay for around $200-300.

This car could either be:

a) Good runner with work, good looker with a detail

or

b) Better suited for parts

Either way, at $1,000 dollars, you can't lose on the thing. In parts alone, it's worth some big $$$, and if it can be made to run, drive, and look nice, you can easily double or triple your money. Good luck with it if you can still snag it!

 

I contacted him a week ago and looked at what he had, and passed on it. It probably a parts car at best unless you're up for a full restoration, it hasnt been cared for. A good deal at $1,000 considering the parts if you have the space and time, but I would guess any of the parts on the car require alot of work to restore.

 

Good points - thx for that input. I spoke to the seller and he is not available this weekend, so I might consider next weekend.

For me, it's 2.5 hours each way, plus cost of a trailer / dolly, so I have to be conscious of recouping my money on this one.

 

Just bought this car. I'll pay $400 (plus an extra $150 gas) to anyone in the MD area who's willing to transport this car for me to Champlain,NY. 9 1/2 hrs drive both ways. Ready to ship as of Oct 18th. PM if interested.
