^^I'll take the 8 cylinder 32 valve turbo motor in the lower corner of that picture please.

EDIT: Oops, I stand corrected. That is not the 8-cly in that pic. Looks too different from this shot.
I wonder where this motor is now?

I think thats in Finland at the factory, theres supposedly another stash of weird things up there also, lord knows what will go on with those. If you run the descriptions through google translate there are some insanely cool cars there. Theres a c900 bodied 9000, and the joystick controlled 9000, variable compression 9-5. The list goes on and on, the only hope is that this is being done as a formality so that someone can buy the collection as a whole, but I'm not holding terribly high hopes for that one.

Also, in case anyone is interested, it sounds like it should cost in the neighborhood of $4k to get one of these shipped to the US, thats after towing to the port and container fees, etc.

I'm hoping someone buys the whole collection and keeps it together. I suppose that is unlikely, though.
the fact the lawyers/liquidators didn't so much as bother with little things like, you know, advertising, or producing an english-version brochure, spells doom for this collection as a whole.

the pool of buyers is so small. fuckin idiots.

I'm a little surprised this has not come up as an option.

If I had a gazillion dollars and some storage space, I'd be all over the 99... wagon... thing? And the 90. The 90 was terribly underloved, I think.

I think it's interesting that everyone has their own "wants". Call me crazy, but I've always dug the Nova black c900 convertible with the mid-century modern accents in the collection--so offbeat.

Okay so there is a 1972 Saab 99 Coupe with this description:

99a lĂĄngnos, extended crash structure ( had V8 ) Requires major revision, lacks some interior.

The 5 cyl 9-5 is apparently fully functional!
