Is this the first time you've done that, or have you done it before? I'm curious as to how difficult it is to remove. Also, why the bare bumper? Or is this photo taken before you did the bumper? That's where my car gets it the worst.

Never done it before, but Ive seen enough videos on youtube to trust it. Also tried it out on the mirrors. I decided to keep them black though.

The bumper isnt covered because its too damaged to care. The hood was repainted in early September, so I dont want to get any damage on it yet. If I ever paint the bumper then I will do it as well for that winter.

That's such a smart idea watkins!

I wouldn't worry about anything going wrong with plasti dip. I've done wheels, grilles, badges and did a whole hood and it came right off no problem.

I do believe that they make a clear coat of plasti dip. I might use it on my bumper after I get it repainted now.

Plasti dip is awesome stuff. Aside from the car bra, Ive done quite a few aesthetic things. I painted both mirrors for a bit of a change from the standard painted mirror LBV All my exterior trim was faded, so I coated all of that. Dip'ed the grille and intercooler grille black. There are eyelids on the headlights that flow into the grille (still undecided about these). Some bits under the hood that dont have too much heat to deal with have Plasti dip on them.
