i've been working on this all day, at least 5 hours. i still have to do the inserts in the back seat and i'll probably do the sunroof too. i was going to cover the dash but it's fine the way it is.

the material isn't real suede but it looks like it is. it's very difficult to get it around corners and everything without getting creases and wrinkles. but i did the best i could

thanks for the compliments guys. that headliner was a bitch to get in/out!
mainly because of all of the little screws and shit holding it in. once it was down it was way easier to get it out of the car than i had expected. i was able to just turn it and slide it out the passenger door.

as for how dirty it was, the only reason i could think of is that previous owners were smokers.

The headliner looks nice as well. I'd always be wanting to "comb" it uniform :)
haha. i had suede in my rx7 - pretty similar job to what t-johnny did - and yeah, I was ALWAYS combing it. Used to drive me crazy. I found that a slightly dampened washcloth was my best friend for that li'l issue.

Oh - T-Johnny, have you thought of taking the plastic bits like the sunvisors and oh shit handles, and painting them trim black?? Think it would look a lot cooler. Looks great though - good job on diy
