Bigger GS rear ARB

I have been thinking of ditching my 22mm GS ARB. I know the 25mm is a bit much for the street. But my car does not see snow or temps below 50 degrees. It occasionaly sees rain. That is all.

I think the 25mm might be too much if I had the stock front bar, but I have the SE front 24mm bar.

Is this a stupid thing to upgrade to? Will the car really become excessively prone to oversteer on the street with even the 24mm big bar? Will I notice any decrease in body roll moving up to the 25mm bar?

I didn't know you had bought it off of him. Interesting.

My car is pretty stiff, I have everything within reason beefed up with poly and all the bars you could add. The 25mm bar is the last item that is not taken as far as it can go and still be tolerable for a street car.

I had the 25mm rear bar with the 24 front bar with a koni shocks and eibach springs as well as poly bushes all around (including the rear axle). It was fine.

I found the Handling to be quite neutral. I never found the car to be prone to oversteering out of nowhere. I found I could really stay on the power through the turns and the car would track the way I wanted it to.

I had the tail step out a bit a few times while driving hard but nothing serious, just a bit of rotation.

Man I miss being able to drive that car.....

Hmm, thats what I wanted to hear.

I have found my tail step out very rarely and a very small amount. I also wonder about the effect of tires, like stiff sidewalls could exascerbate the car being prone to oversteer. My 615's have a pretty stiff sidewall.

I have put a lot into trying to make this car handle, have decent turn in and reduce body roll. It's better, but we all know it has a left to be desired. I am hoping the 25mm bar might give me a smidge less roll.
