i totaled the 91/92 saab, i hit a stone wall going to fast, walked away without harm.

im not sure what im going to do yet,, it has loads of great saab goodies on it,, it might be parted, or they might go into anuther 9000.

idealy what id like to find is a 1995 9000 5spd, as base model as base comes (needs to be uber cheap, and i have all the goodies)

either that or a c900.........

unfortuntily i dont have a camara at the moment, but hears a brief decription:

it was a low lieing stone wall, it completly missed the front bumper, it hit worst on the front passengers side, the rocks pushed the subframe out of place pretty drasticly, the hose from the delivery pipe to the TB got kinked do to movement.

it would need a new subframe is i wanted to repair it,, adn then it would need to go to the frame shop to be straigtend out. and once a car has been wrecked, it will never feel as solid again afterwards.

i was doing around 70,, but i was on the brakes prior to hittting the wall, speed of impact was probably around 25-30.

i went and looked at SPGbees 9k today,, it was a decent looking car, but not entirely what i want, i also heard back from teh man with the black 91 900o turbo. it sounds like the car needs a clutch, but all and all isnt bad. hes asking 900$ it comes with a full black 9k aero interior, aero wheels, and a decent body (but high miles) its been sitting so odds are it will need other things as time progresses,, but im ok with that.

my major concern is with the clutch,, not because of the labor of doing it, but because i need to drive it 200 miles home. and if it needs to be towed its no longer worth it.

well see how things work out....

the current owners still are not certain whats wrong with the clutch, it could just need a bleed (easy and can do before departing) or it could need a new disc... the car has 200k miles (not a big deal) and a very good service history,, nowhere stated in it does it say anything about clutch work. so at this point in time im up for beliveing it could need the whole 9 yards
