well i think its all bullshit that people are all self-righteous about this topic like you've never done something similar before. fuck i can't even formulate my thoughts into sentences.

the humble/humility thing has to be a joke.
Actually I never have. I may be a douche here, but in public I would not dare act that rude. Now back to drinking my gold.

I think it's fair to say that most of us haven't flaunted our possessions to prove a point. Have we all been douchebags? Sure. But most of us aren't proud of it... that's the difference.

And no, the humility thing isn't a joke. It's actually really pathetic. People like that are more likely to nauseate than impress.

something similar, not the same thing.

im not saying everyone has had a similar run in, im saying people have shown off possessions to individuals who don't enjoy the same luxury.

Um no. I don't recall ever doing something like that. Perhaps I've inadvertantly done something like that due to the fact my Saab probably makes me look like prick, but I don't go around saying "Look, my $40000 (formerly) car looks and is way better than your crappy civic."

oops...

hehe no i havent really done that... but i have used the msrp as an example of how saabs depreciate nastily and why i like to buy em used :)

Thanks for reminding us how important people with big trucks and boats are.

I often to go McDonalds and buy three of everything and ask if they'll take a direct wire transfer from my overseas bank account. When they invariably say they can't do that, I throw a couple crisp $100s at the cashier and tell her to keep the change. Then I look her up and down and say "Ha, nevermind, I don't want to support your drug habit you human parasite" before tearing up the $100s and using them as "expensive lettuce" on my Big Macs. It makes me feel good to flaunt my wealth.

I wouldn't have gotten loud with a fast food employee.

You have to remember who you're dealing with.

Deek-I do the same with the $100 bills.

the truck and boat was a visual to the girl...to show that people from Belmont do succeed...

again, funny stuff.
im pretty sure he was a little more upset at the belmont comment than the change...and i like how people are so self-righteous about this.

its amusing. good laughs
You hit it on the head.

Im normally never an ass to anyone and those on here who knows me will attest to that. I had no issue with the making change, however frusterating it was, but the fact that she shit on (albiet unbeknownst to her) where Ive come from really set me off. I dont see her as a lesser person than me, nor do I see her as somone incapable of being sucessful, however to blame the path one has paved for themselves on somone else, or something else (the school in this case) is bullshit. Life doesnt doesnt hand you anything, you get what you earn, what you deserve. I know this first hand as many may know, which is why Im not finishing up my senior year right now.

And a note - I believe I said in the original post that the boat wasnt mine, but a company boat (just a visual as BSU said), the school is Belmont, NH for those who asked, and the girl is/was a drug addict according to my brother who is a Senior at Belmont now - she was thrown out for...you guessed it...coke...

Ill leave it at that, and offer my sincerest apologies to anyone I may have offended.

Anyone completely pissed off at you for overreacting on something are all hipocrites. You're still a mighty fine man Coop, except your praises of the subby WRX sTI :)

Cooper, I can't believe you'd actually try to act it off like you're better than the cashier because you have a shiny new truck.

I'm so much better than you for not putting people down to make myself feel better, you douche.

/sarcasm

Everyone says crap they don't mean. But when it is in print, it will take on a life of its own. The problem is you will own it in perpetuity. There is no one on this list that has not thought what you wrote when they were angry at someone. Its an outlet. Just don't write it next time. Fleeting thoughts are just that and no one will hold you accountable for them. When you write it down its as if you acted on them. Think before you type. Keep on posting!

haha the last time i was at mcdonald's, the meal turned out to be like $8 and i gave the girl a $20 and she gave me $2 back. so i told her that she gave me the wrong change, and she said she didn't, and it turned into a screaming match until i finally got $18 back from her manager. but they were rolling their eyes at me like i was some shady customer. i was so pissed. i hate ignorant people, but when they're rude, i feel like burning down the joint. which i didn't but i really had to tell myself not to ram my car through the mcplayland as i was leaving.
Hey! You forgot to start it with: "this one time, at band camp. . . "
