i'll probly be looking for around 4k for the volvo depending on how much work i do to it. it's a good solid car - i've known the car for like the past 3-4 years before i owned it. always dealer mantained.

That's worth it though, I don't like the gold but I've always liked Volvos. Got any more pics?

850's are cool cars. personally, i am a fan myself. if i were to drive a volvo, that would probably be the one...just not in gold.

169k - fresh timing belt, strut mounts, volvo battery and i'm gonna do cv boots, tires and whatever else i find that it needs.

yea, we traded straight up- however, i do all the work on the 9k for free (which will soon be getting a headgasket) so i think it all evens out in the end.

 

i would have to say that i would go with an 850 turbo or an 850R.

 

agreed, but stupid volvo made the 850 turbos in auto only. the only way to get a factory 5 spd 850 is n/a.....but you could get an s70 t5 5spd.....dumb.

Yeah my brother has a 740t auto, he said it was near impossible to find a 5spd.

 

theres a guy thats been coming to my appt bldg with a s70 awd, full 3" exhaust , it's pretty nice, but i asked him how much boost he was pushing, he said 10lbs, stock is 7. I laughed and told him i pushed 25.

 

did he look scared?

I like the gold actually. The Japanese cars tried to do gold awhile back and ended up with a plasticky, vinyl look to them. If you're gonna do gold, it has to look metallic - and that does.

There's nothing wrong with that car that some window tint, 17" inch wheels, and a turbo wouldn't fix.

Can you put a turbo on the Volvo n/a's? Unless the compression ratio is mega-high, I wouldn't see why not.

looking good. I tried to pick you up a set of new aero seat covers in sweden but they only had back seats in the grey color. its a shame too because they were only like $15 each

 

damn why? aeros are way prettier and drive nicer.

 

 

we still have the 9000. it's hers. i sold the volvo quite a while ago.
