So as it would seem, the 9-5 with the 2.3 has a few different belt applications.
*Work in Progress*
9-5 models with center idler and w/ac
2615 to 2632mm belt 6pk1030 or 1031
SAAB P/N 4899548

9-5 models without center idler and w/ac
2426mm
SAAB P/N 9144874

9-5 with center idler and wo/ac
1980-2000mm

9-5 without center idler and wo/ac
1752-1803mm

I found that some 9-5s have the center idler and some do not.

This is a work in progress and as time permits will update with p/ns and what not.

The difference was the "long belt" (with center idler pulley) and the "short belt" option (without center idler pulley). Many times dealers modified the long belts into short belts (and left the center idler pulley on) for time savings or from being lazy (not having to swap out the center idler pulley, which can be a PITA).

The long belt part# 4899548

and the short belt part# 9144874

Tuned saabers have sometimes complained of a noise coming from being short-belted, while others have said things are just fine. I tried this briefly and found that I was one of the ones that experienced noise, so I converted back to the long belt.
