i need to go home and assess the situation, my buddy is finishing the removal right now. When the fluid was drained, a lot of metal came out, so that aint good. We originally thought i snapped the clutch hub...

 

I'll tell you one thing my 9-3 trans is sooooooooooo smooth. I would recommend you upgrade.

 

i would def of upgraded last week, but i just bought a turbo and all kinds of other stuff, grrr. So my car resources are slightly diminished. Where did you get yours tho, and how much?


Does the 9-3 box have most of the hydraulic stuff with it, and i basically just need the pedal assembly or what?

 

i got mine threw a guy who used to work for my dad. I payed 300 which was a steal it only has 28k on it. They run around 700. I put a new slave in, but it came with one.

 

laxian I've got one sitting in my parts car, from a 94 ng900

 

No difference between a well maintained 900 trans with the MTF00063 update and the 9-3 transmission.

My GF has a 99 9-3 trans with 90k, she has not converted the fluid over and my 97 900SE trans with more mileage is MUCH smoother.

make you saab i may still be interested, but turns out my tranny didnt grenade. I spun the hub out of my spec stage 3 clutch. There is no way that i should have done this, my car is pretty stock still. It has only been about 25k, and i dont beat on my car. I ripped every rivet straight out of between the two. Pretty fucked up...
