This makes me remember something about my convertible.

I try to do everything myself, and the one time I needed to use a shop my car comes back with a 2" by 2" area on the rear quarters (both sides) that is scratched up. I was getting a new top put on and it clearly was a belt buckle or something rubbing on the car while the person leaned over. It just bothers me when the one time I need someone else, my fears come true.

Sucks to see such a nice car ruined, but that guy is a DUMBASS for signing off on that work and paying...

Id be at the shop with my spare keys and a few buddies of choice size, commondeering my vehicle and letting him know he could expect to be hearing from my attourney.

Seriously epic FAIL.

Reminds me of when I had a new bumper put on my Aero... The difference being that the body work cost $4000 and it was a reputable pro body shop, I simply told them that I wasn't happy with the orange peel/drip and they replaced the bumper and repainted it again.

My GF's Maaco paint job on her convertible looks 100x better than that shit. That's insane that someone can even let them selves do that shitty of a job.

Unfortunately Auto body is like the shadiest business ever
