2001 Saab 9-5 Aero Auto, Front Seat Replacement.

Good Morning All.

I plan to replace my 2 manually operated front seats with a pair of electrically operated seats on my 2001 Saab 9-5 Aero Auto.
My question/query is as follows.

Is the female wiring connection currently in my car able to accept the male wiring plug on the electric seats I am going to purchase.

The new seats are from a 9-5 1990-2010.

First question would be does your cars interior wiring harness have the pin out to support it.

Check here and look at the version of the power seat your installing to verify all the required pins are present. Wiring diagram 9-5 (9600) 2000 | SAAB Workshop Information System Online

May I ask what the letters mean in the picture of the harness.

It’s the color of the wire attached to the pin.
