I'm pretty sure they're 8" wide. If so, a 215/40 will give you minor stretch depending on which brand of tire you plan to run.

 

215 on a 8" rim will be a stretch. I ran 225 45 on the 17x8 TSW's I used to have. Those had minor rub in the rear.

 

I already rolled my fenders from my previous wheels is that what you were rubbing on?

 

i went with the bfg g-force t/a kdw2 215/40/18 they were special order so i hope they dont give me any problems. trying to get them all set for carlisle

from what ive heard you dont really need wobble bolts i ran 5x112 wheels before with gorilla bolts but they wernt wobble so well see same center bore so i wont need centric rings d

they were just smaller diamiter lug bolts no wobble tho but for these im gonna just run stock saab lug nuts they should fit just fine im thinking Gorilla Automotive 17015SD-20 - Gorilla Small Diameter Lug Bolt Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

 

check these out. . its funny because the pegs are the only rim i think ill run besides my viggen rims i dont care how easily they bend. . somthing about a 5 spoke rim on the viggen bodys i love and originality of them..

i have been looking for awhile for strictly an 18'' set at a reasonable price w/ wobbles and then saw your thread. . Gorillas huh ? what do you think about the even rarer 19'' with rolled fenders..? hmm ride quality will be that much worse and rubbing probably not worth it..

here are a few adds i've recently been looking at. . ill be doing somthing this summer but i am in no hurry because my vig rims are in excellent excellent shape (knock on wood). . i hate it when people have what i got or try and do the same thing believe me but its all been done before. . so i figured id share them with you because i have been hunting for a set..

and as long as i dont see any LB viggens in S. New Hampshire with pegs i think ill be ok lol

i got my pegs for a killer deal off of here 300 rashed horribly with tires 2 of which were bald but i was able to sell some of the tires off to make back a good chunk of money and now the wheels are getting refinished found a guy that does them locally very cheap i dropped them off yesterday around 6 and he sent me a picture of them around 10 pm all primed and ready for wet sand. but as far as the 19" pegs from what i hear volvo never made a set and all the 19s are actually reps again this is hear say from what i read and have heard. but i mean think about it what volvo r came with 19s? the s60 is what had the 18s and the others had 17s there was no roadster or anything so thats why im pretty sure this is true i cant see paying close to 1000 dollars for just rep wheels no tires....

and the gorilla bolts im not using on these just to clear up i just had to get them for my other wheels because the stock lug bolts wouldnt fit in the hole of the wheel had to go with smaller diamiter ones

thanks matt yeah im ready trying to do a couple last minute things wheels i pulled my broken door vinyl off yesterday, im gonna forever black all the plastic trim and if i can get a good deal tint the front windows and then in all my spare time polish away at my engine lol you know what thats like! but i picked a couple things from henrys the other day little odds and ends trying to get my car perfect because im going to be selling it this year figured everybody will see it at carlisle so dont want them to get a bad impression. and id like to place this year

Looks good, i bet having the sideskirts color matched would pull it all together.

 

rusty stock lug bolts... volvo center caps and yeah i bet the color matched skirts would be nice but viggen kit even nicer either way cars going up for sale soon so trying to stop putting money into it just getting it in pristine conditon first.

 

So 5x112 will work on our cars as long as the hub bore size is the same im assuming?

lowered on koni springs and shocks 225-40-18 no rubbing at all yet i really love the look!

 

i want to get into something different awd better handling im going for an evo 8 or 9 with a goal right off the bat of 600 awhp ive been saving my money for a while now and all i gotta do is unload the saab this year. i love the car but i guess its time to move on, because i cant have 3 vechiles at my parents house they already dont like that i have 2 lol

Hi, i'm new here.... Just today I bought some Volvo Pegasus wheels 8 by 18'' with 225/40 tyres.... I will be fitting them to my 2001 Saab 9-3 se convertible, they are brand new in the box from a guy on ebay who bought them for his x-type Jag but before he fitted them his car broke down and needed the money to repair it so £340.00 inc made them mine. They are dark silver so are being resprayed bright silver on Thursday, i'll post pics when fitted! Yaaaaeeeee.....

Yes OEM bolts work. A friend of mine bought these off Josh when he sold his car. He has been running them on his 9-5 Aero for a few years now. They look great.
