Your Wallet - How do you carry your cash/cards

What type:
Bi-fold? Tri-fold? money clip? Binder clip? Rubber band? Change purse?

Where do you carry it:
Back pocket? Front pocket? Fanny-pack? Jacket? Backpack?

-----

How do you carry your cash, cards and other various wallet related items?

I'm a typical bi-fold-wallet-in-the-back-pocket-kind-of-guy, but I think it's time for a change.

Discuss.

Nixon Mantle. Bi-fold with zip pocket and 3 card sleeves for ID, debit, and credit.

I hate how tri-folds fold bills at each end, rather than one crease in the middle. (Was a bank teller in college so these things bother me.)

I have a George Costanza Special. Bifold with slots for 10 cards, a couple hidden pockets, and a license window. Every option being used to the fullest extent. Including the money section which is also filled with papers and receipts. Right rear pocket.

If I travel, I usually empty it down to one credit card, my license, and my medical cards.

I have a Jimi, specifically because I hate the wallet clutter, in the front pocket. It's smaller than my averagely-intelligent phone.

It's definitely different.

I gave them as gifts to my groomsmen.

The latch is slanted to it conforms to the bottom of a front pocket. I had a customer pull one of these out and I went "OOOOOHhhhhhhhhHHH!!!!! WANT!"

They're really cheap ($15), and made in USA.

Realistically only holds 5 cars, and 4-5 bills. I don't carry smaller denominations than 5's in it, I put any 1's I get as change in the center console of the 9-5 DD and that becomes Starbucks money.

Just ordered a Jimi. Years ago my back told me that driving with a wallet was nonsense so I've been carying cards in a money clip front pocket.

Spare change and loose bills in front left pocket. Keys and stuff on front right pocket. Wallet with cash, cards, license, other junk in rear right pocket. The watch goes on rear left pocket when I am working on cars or helicopters.

Keys front left, phone front right. Junk back left and bi-fold, fatter than it should be as I am broke in the back right. ID, debit, credit and junk.

Bi-fold, right rear pocket. Carry my license, school ID, debit card, and various other cards. Larger bills in the rear money slot of wallet, smaller bills and receipts in the front. Wallet is probably 8 years old now.

Also, keys front right, cell front left. Extreme habit.

I like how this has evolved into a "what else do you carry on your person everyday" thread.

Also a creature of extreme habit... ;)

Every day:
Front Left - Personal phone
Front Right - Keys, pocket knife(type dependent on day), chap-stick and glasses cloth
Belt, Right Hip - Work phone
Back Right - Bi-fold wallet

Bi-fold FTW. Hate tri-folds with a passion. Plus, I have way too many cards (3 ID's, debit, credit, 2 gas-cards, AAA, several BS "member reward" cards, plus a few "get-out-of-jail-free" business cards. All of which are, unfortunately, necessary.) Essentially, a streamline Costanza. Really only put big bills in the wallet, if I have them. Usually don't.

And continuing with the trend... nothing but the iPhone in the front right (goddamn glass), brick wallet in the back right, knife/change/small bills/keys/lighter/misc crap in the front left, and if anything, receipts and whatnot in the back left. Never changes. Another creature of habit.

...That Jimi thing has me intrigued, though. With the amount of driving I do, my wallet really jacks my back up when I forget to take it out.

Bi-fold, in my left rear pocket. I carry credit cards, drivers license, insurance card and various other things, but not cash in it.

Cash, when I carry it, is in my left front pocket, change from the days purchases goes in either my change jar or in Sarah's piggy bank(she's got $26 in change in her piggy bank).

Now that I have a smart phone, it goes in my right front pocket, screen to my leg. When I had the Motorola I-580 flip phone I used a belt clip. Yeah, I was that guy.

Keys, when I'm not at home but not driving are in my right rear pocket.

Good ole leather bi-fold in my right rear pocket. Contents: around $40 (I like to keep a decent amount of cash I case I go somewhere that doesn't accept debit) debit card, business cards from various places, notes of things I need to get, and a stack of my own business cards. I'm also very particular in the way that all of the bills in my wallet have to be in order from largest to smallest and all facing the same way. Then I have my iPhone in the front right pocket and my mass of keys in my left pocket.

bifold wallet with a flap inside for id's and credit cards, cash is folded up in front pocket, change rattles out of pockets into car or gym bag lol

Not ashamed to say, I'm still that guy. Fuck public perception. It's too hard getting a smart phone comfortably in my pocket and harder to get it out when it rings. When did carrying a "weapon" in a holster on your hip become de rigueur. I am the Clint Eastwood of smartphonedom. Although, if I'm in dress clothes, it ends up in my jacket chest pocket. I've never broken a phone. My son has broken three iphones already from having them slip out of his pocket during some activity.

At least I'm not that ear-piece guy. :)

As long as we're adding pocket contents: pocket knife and less than a buck in change front right; small pill case with aspirin, advil, and migraine medicine front left. Key's front right--when it's not jacket season.

I have a cheapo Nautica bi-fold from years ago. It's fairly worn out, but I haven't found anything thinner. I rarely have cash, but usually a few pieces of paper, and 8 cards or so, for various stuff.

Virgin HTC Inc2 (no case/screen protector)- front left
Keys, change, lip-balm - front right
ID card - front left belt-loop
SOG Aegis - right front pocket (clipped inside)
Wallet - back right
Springfield XD .40 - occasionally 4 o'clock IWB

I genuinely hate the feeling of stuff in my pockets. Even after doing it the same way for years.

And, I take my wallet/phone/pistolero out for easy use when I drive.
I hate driving with my wallet in my ba

Dockers bi-fold in right front pocket. Used to carry it in back pocket until I realized it was contributing to back pains, probably cuz I stuff too many useless receipts in it :p Debit card, credit card, driver's license, insurance card, AAA card, student ID, health insurance card, Shaw's and Price Chopper rewards cards, and a few business cards. Change goes in a jar on my counter.

tri fold rear pocket. Unless im at a concert or vegas strip or generally any crowded place I then move it to my front pockets.

If someone wants to pickpocket me they will have to service me while they're at it...

Bi fold in the RR pocket DL, 2 Credit cards, MAC card, Starbucks card and of course the carry permit. A few business cards where the money should be. Folding money in a money clip in a front pocket. I got out of the habit of keeping cash in my wallet back in my college days in Newark NJ. Several times I got home after a long night and............the wallet was gone.
