Bosch Jetronic ECU P/N 0 280 000 564. I'm fairly sure these are specific to 89' 900(S), and apparently are known to be flaky. If anyone knows of an alternative P/N that is compatible please let me know. If you have a decent used one you can get rid of PM me with price and shipping to 14301 (or N0B 1SO if your in Canada). Thanks!

I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure I still have the jetronic ECU from my 89 SPG in the garage. Let me check the part numbers.

That won't work on an 89 non-turbo, at least not properly. We have one in stock ePartsLand - Saab 900-S ECU ENGINE Computer 88 89 90 0280000564, also a couple different versions of remanufactured units for more money. But, you should really replace it with a -580, same deal, just less failure prone ePartsLand - Saab 900-S 88-90 ECU ECM Jetronic Computer 0280000580.

Thanks Paul. What is the difference between a -580 and the -564? I have an ECU from when I parted my '92(N/A), but it's across state and I forget the P/N...maybe it's the same?

I have done some reading on LH2.4, and many have said the hybrid chip tends to fail over time, more often than the driver FETs for the injectors (which would actually be an easy repair).

88 900-S (16V) 89 900/900-S and 90 900/900-S all interchange. a 2.1 liter car (91-93) will NOT work in an 88-90 16 valve car.
