Didn't see a thread for this yet, so in keeping with the 'viggens make great winter cars' theme, here's this years setup. Same as last years, but now with hellaflush 205's on rally white wheelz

The viggens hanging out in the garage all winter:winky:
Unfortunately the viggen gets driven, the 85 hangs out in the garage (in the background) all winter. I've done enough rust repair on that car...though I do try and spray down the nooks and cranies with a little oil a few times during the winter on the vig, and of course wash whenever the weather cooperates. Tires are Dunlop SP Wintersport 3D, great success.

Same as it always looks. Thinking about plastidipping the wheels though. Just for fun. I should be getting new wheels for this summer so the stock ones will go to winter duty only.

When real stuff hits the Saab gets parked. The tires are too shitty (worn down no seasons) for anything more than light drizzle. So I have to choose from this:

or this

I really liked mine on my 02 9-3. Enough to buy another set for the Combi. They are really awesome tires for the price.

I had the new ones studded and they should be here this week. They'll be mounted on stock 5-spokes from a 9-5 (thanks seriks!) and then I will be set for six noisy months!

Lulz. I decided to treat the underside of my car for this winter by blowing the rear main seal at speed on I84 and drenching the car in freshly changed synthetic oil. This should keep the salt from getting at the paint* thus winterizing my NG900 for yet another winter of service.

My only regret is leaving my memory card at home so the 1" thick layer of oil on the underside of my car will soon be a repressed memory.

Carry on.

225/45-17 Dunlop Graspics mounted on Dipped double 3 spokes.

This car isn't likely to see a ton of winter action, but in case the '99 with Blizzaks has any issues, this should work out alright. I also sprayed a spare grill I had kicking around. It's growing on me.
