I want some thing like this for the T5 TD04 swap guys. I know there is the conversion pipe but I want to get rid of the ugly, restrictive intake pipe.

why don't you ask nick to make you one? they'll make custom parts, and i'm pretty sure you could put that on your t5 tdo4.

that's the conversion pipe he's talking about.

then just use the T7 version. it's not like your car is going to start on fire because you used a pipe that was designed for a newer car.

If you want to eliminate the ugly black crinkle hose you can just get a 90* aluminum bend and a couple silicone couplers and make one yourself:
