euuro lists them as hubs

 

i have a 1997 and i have to press the bearings

 

you have to press it in or out. hub will press out of the bearing

 

Jeeps are easy because it's a unit hub with integrated bearing. Not so lucky on our cars.

get a new bearing- press it in.

eeuro- skf bearing is $50
napa- a similar skf bearing is $120, or their Napa Performer brand (a fenco bearing) is $25

I get parts at cost from the dealer so I'm going to see what the OEM replacement costs. If it's more than Eeuro I'll just order it online.

 

I have the same problem at the moment, front passenger wheel bearing on my 1997. Ordered one off auto anything for dirt cheap as I just need this car to run.

 

Many of the aftermarket bearings is made by SKF = "Svenska Kullager Fabriken", "Swedish Ballbearing Factory". Which means top quality, and the same as OEM for most Swedish cars.
