about me pick up this 9-5? It seems pretty clean, black, 5 speed, 2.3t. I just don't know much about 9-5's? What should I look for. It says a good amount of shit has been replaced but like I said, I am clueless to 9-5's.

jeez I hope he isn't selling it to provide more room for that silver neon on the background! Go check it out in person and try to bring it to a mech for a pre sale inspection. If he really did replace all those things recently, i'm sure there are receipts to match. I have a 2001 9-5 with over 100k and it needed shocks pretty bad, so check that out too.

thats the kind of responses I am looking for.

My dad is a mechanic, so that should be easy enough. Car would be for my girlfriend, unless I like it too much then I have another Saab.
check to see that it has pcv update #6. also make sure full synthetic oil changes have been done every 3000 miles to 5000 miles. also that model has the awful gt17 turbo which is probably on its way out at around 150,000 miles. they are a small turbo and are not as reliable as the td04. you could always put a tdo04 on it though. check for white or blue smoke on startup and at wot. also make sure the reverse gear ingages easily. lastly check for leaks around the (i believe its called a heater/coolant bypass valve or something) that is near the firewall
Wow more GT17 bashing...I think you should buy the Neon ;)
