nevermind the image

the clear headlights with one projector make the car look like a bug or something, but I like these, how do I do it?

looks good, do a little research on the forum... there are two threads right now about clear headlights. The jist is you need to make a mold and vacuum form some lenses, saabkid has a great projector instruction thread on here, give it a search.

yeah I saw at least one of those..There was a lot to read and I guess I didn't get to the part where it talked about how you can get more then one projector in each.

thanks, I will look into this more.

Not putting down anyone with single projectors but damn that looks good.
much agreed!

The projector that saabkid, zingzach, myself and others used. They have a threaded part you just put through the housing where the factory light bulb used to be. They are really easy to install.

If you want to use two projectors or any other projector that isn't the morimoto mini. You will need to cut the reflector and rig up a bracket to hold the projector in.

So it can be done it just depend how comfortable you are with cutting up your lights. There is a write up on saabcentral.com from a guy who did this a couple of years ago.
Or even check out hidplanet.com.

I never said that before but for some reason I was never able to get my self to like the projectors on the OG 9-3 or NG 900. I just feel that the stock look fits the design of the car better.

lol, the kid who has these lights now, lives in my town. They look like crap in person, don't light up anything in front of you, and they are made with expanda foam and sawzall blades.. They're downright dangerous at night, I swear you'd see me holding up a mag light in front of the car. Ted bought them when he had his old 9-3, we were disappointed what they were like in person compared to how they looked in photos. They also look strange, almost cross eyed at certain angles, especially head on. But the kid who bought Ted's car and then riced it out, he lives in my town so I see those lights just about daily.

I like the way the single projectors look in the housings, but the corner-marker lenses contrast quit a bit with the headlamps. Especially if the reflectors are painted a flat color.

Painted reflectors=smoked corner-markers?
