We used two very large extinguishers on it but it started right up again. It took all 3 fire departments that were not even 5 minutes away over 20 minutes to respond. By then it was a complete loss. The ATL cell held up and is in better shape than anything else and it didnt let any fuel out. ;) I took complete coverage off the car about two weeks ago. Left on the comprehensive on it which covers fire damges. A+

I was really singing the "we dont need no water" song after 10 minutes of burning and no fire trucks. It was a loss by that point.

No use being upset. It happened and now im going to do a better one. I think the gearbox is about the only thing left. ;)

The things I AM upset about are: I forgot to grab my purse, steering wheel, and NIRA, and my CD's. All of which I could have taken without putting myself in any danger. Other than that I couldnt have done anything more than I did.

Farmers wouldnt do an agreed value. I was going to do that today with another company. HAHA. what a joke, right? My agent told me a couple months back that I HAVE to switch companys to protect myself. I wasnt anticipating a fire.

soo how much will you be getting for the crispy 9k? any idea?
IDK. $4k - $6k. I guess thats better than selling and letting someone else drive my baby.

if it went out with the extinguishers and then re ignited im 95% sure it was a short in wiring. was the car running or did you shut it off once it caught?
Shut it completely off while we were still going like 40. I lost brakes immediately. I had to finish stoping with the e-brake. By the time we stopped we couldnt see each other. My middle finger is burned. I think it was my cars final "FUCK YOU." ;)
