I own a 1999, 9-5 and am getting water down the velour covered drivers side windshield pillar/column. My 2 back seat floorwells/carpets are very soggy. Others have said that these water problems are associated with the 4 sunroof drains. If I am NOT using my sunroof, how can it be allowing rain to come into the sunroof area? How is the rain ending up in my 2 back seat floor boards? Just doesn't make any sense to me? I would appreciate any help and explanations as to WHY water is collecting in my back seat floors? Can all of these problems be caused by clogged sunroof drains?

sunroofs do not seal 100% ever. The drains are there to handle the water that does come past the seal. Looking at the seal, it is easy to realize that it will never be 100% effective.

I would suggest to start with the simple things first, make sure all 4 drains are clear, then go from there.
