lucky that's all that happened!!!! That is one shit hole of a place in the winter.

 

i know i was listening to the radio once i was way south of that and they said that traffic was backed up from there for about 2-3 miles.

 

The other week it took me an hour to get from the airport to the Swisher exit. (Mabey 3 miles) When we got there there was nothing going on, just people going through the rest stop to make up time slowig everyone else up when the had to merge back into traffic.

 

Bummer!

Glad your OK, Some people/cars don't fair as well from a side swipe on the highway. It still sucks ass to go through the whole process of getting it fixed

yea all he basically said was 'it was completely my fault so it will be up to you if you want to call it in or not.'
i got all of his insurance info...
now it's the debate.
we never called the cops.
i was so pissed i just basically said f*** it and left. so i pry won't even be able to file a claim or whatever it is.
the car just turned over 200,000...
yes it's in perfect shape except for that but idk if it's worth fixing.
i'm just glad i didn't get spun sideways from the impact and end up in a 20 car pile up.

 

Now your thinking. Think on the bright side, everyone was ok. I think I know a body shop that would fix that for you fairly cheap, once racing season has started.

I'm happy to be here. Now I know that no matter how big the impact of a damage is, always call cops.

Few months ago I accidentally hit the guy in front of me, completely my fault since he stopped without any reason and I wasn't paying attention to him, thinking he already turned left.
He jumped out of his old Toyota and started apologizing to me and was asking if I was alright.

 

update:
i took it in to get an estimate and turned it all into insurance a few days ago...
2100$$

after getting a ticket today, i doubt she'll be putting it into go fast parts... maybe just a t5 suite tune.

Well she already has the dp(full 3"). I think i can talk her into some suspension parts for the car. She also needs to shop for some summer tires for the super aeros.

 

UPDATE:
just got the car back today from the 'body shop'
it looks AMAZING!!!
the paint is a little off but i'm ok with it cuz i only paid like 300 and it's all faded and half of it was cleared and the other half wasn't.
idk what happened before i owned it but the paint needs to be redone all around.
ANYWAYS...i love it.
i missed it.
and i'll have pics later.

ps. i will be spending the rest to get the rear strut tops fixed and suspension...
if there's more maybe a new turbo???

 

Thats great you are happy with it! I would get a tune, downpipe and intercooler instead of a turbo since your aero can make good power off of that stuff alone

 

tune for sure that's already underway as soon as i have time.
it's got full 3" turbo back already.
intercooler yes....
but i'm sure that'll come with a new turbo.... *evil grin*
